Wikis
A wiki is a type of website that allows people to easily add, remove and otherwise edit and change content, sometimes without registration.
Some examples of wiki use are:
- Learning spaces: ComPart wiki
- Encyclopedias: Wikipedia / Howtopedia.org
- Help manual: Dgroups
- Policy preparation: UK Government Environmental contract
- Websites: Aideffectiveness.org / Praxis Interchange
Slideshare contains many powerpoint presentations on wikis and how to use them.
Wikis are easier to use than to describe, but Common Craft made this short video to explain the advantages of using wikis:
